IBS 2.7 > General FunctionsWhat computer skills are needed by students using IBS?IBS students do not need to be highly proficient in using computers, but they should have available and be able to use the following basic computer applications: - Internet Explorer or another Internet browser - Basic e-mail functions- Adobe Reader for downloading and reading PDF files
The following applications are also helpful for those taking online facilitated classes:- Microsoft Word for composing and posting classroom assignments- SKYPE is also helpful for free long-distance calls to your facilitator or fellow studentsStudents enrolled in ONLINE FACILITATED classes should also learn to use the IBS Classroom Discussion function.
