Browser differences

IBS 2.7 > General Functions

As with any online application, you may experience slight differences in the behavior of IBS, depending on which Internet browser you are using. As we become aware of these differences, we will document them here.

Classroom is still open error
The recommended method of exiting from the IBS classroom is to click the Exit Class link located near the top right of the classroom screen. This method works for all browsers; however, in Google Chrome, you may see the following error when you try to log out of IBS:

 

To avoid this error, you may close the classroom by simply closing the classroom window, without first clicking the Exit Class link. 

If the error continues to occur, you may need to clear your browser cache. In Chrome, select Tools > Clear Browsing Data. Select Empty the cache and/or Delete cookies, then click Clear Browsing Data.
