What is a Group Administrator?

Solution

IBS 2.7 > Group Administrator Functions: General Functions

IBS is designed to allow churches and mission groups to participate as partners, either in a publishing role by contributing their own courses to the shared course inventory, and/or in an academic role by creating a sales catalog from courses in the IBS inventory for their Group to offer discipleship training. These partners are known as "Groups" in IBS.

The Group Administrator (GA) is a representative of the partner organization who is responsible for creating and maintaining the Group's information in IBS. Currently, IBS allows only one GA per each Group.

To learn more about the duties of the GA, see Overview of the Group Administrators Menu.
