Approve Enrollments

Solution

IBS 2.7> Facilitator Functions

When you create a class, you determine whether students who enroll in it are accepted automatically or must await your approval of their enrollment. If you have chosen to require approval, you will be notified whenever a student enrolls in your class. You should then use the Approve Enrollments function to approve or disapprove his/her enrollment.

To approve or disapprove a pending enrollment:

  1. Enter the campus of the Group in which you are facilitating the class.
  2. On the sidebar menu, under Facilitators, click Approve Enrollments. A list of the classes you are facilitating within that Group will appear.
  3. Click Expand All to open the listing for all of your classes in the Group, or click the plus sign (+) next to the class you want to open. A list of students awaiting approval will appear.
  4. If you want to learn more about a student, you may click his name to see his IBS profile.
  5. Click to place a checkmark in the box next to the student's name, or check the box above the table to select all students. Then click Approve or Deny. Either of these options will generate an automatic notification from IBS to the student(s) to notify them of your decision.

The student will need to return to your Group's Sales Catalog page to complete his enrollment in your class. Until then, he is enrolled in your class but his payment status is "unpaid" and he will not be able to access the classroom or the class discussion forum.
