Class Calendar

IBS provides a calendar feature that can be used for facilitated classes. Both students and facilitators can post events on the calendar. Your facilitator may post notes on the calendar to inform students of key events and dates for the class.

Displaying the calendar
You may display the calendar by clicking on the Calendar link at the top of the IBS Forum pages.


Since each class has its own calendar, you should select the calendar with the correct Class Session Identifier from the Jump to calendar menu near the bottom of the screen. Press the Go button to display the selected calendar.


Posting an event

• To post an event that the entire class can see, click Add Public Event.
• To post an event that only you can see, click Add Private Event, or check the Private box while entering the event.
  

Viewing an event
When viewing the calendar, you will see links containing only the first few words of each entry.

• To display the full title of the entry, allow the mouse pointer to idle over the link. 
  
• To display the full text entered by the poster, click the link.
