Using an Alias

If you are concerned about using your real name in IBS, you can use an alias instead. Only your alias, not your real name, will appear throughout the system.

You can create an alias when you register. If you do not create it at that time, you can add one later. Select My IBS Portal > My User Profile or click the link below to go to the Edit Profile page.

To create an alias, just type it in the "Alias" field on either the Registration page or the Edit Profile page. Be sure to remove the check in the box marked "Show my real name throughout the site?"
