Certificate of Completion: For Independent Study, the Internet Biblical Seminary (IBS) provides a Certificate of Completion to the student who completes the IBS course with a passing percentage. A Certificate of Completion, however, does not count toward the IBS Diploma or Masters Programs. Only facilitated classes meet the qualifications of the IBS Study Programs.
IBS Diploma Programs: IBS provides two diploma programs for which a student will receive a diploma. These two (two-year) programs are:
The student must take facilitated classes to meet the requirements of these diploma programs. Currently IBS only offers online facilitated classes. Please contact BEE World for the location of in-person facilitated classes. Other church or mission groups may also choose to offer in-person classes through the IBS system.
These diploma programs must be taken in the order displayed. The Practical Ministry program must be completed before taking the Church Leadership program, and the Church Leadership program must be completed before taking the Masters in Biblical Studies program. These diploma programs count towards the completion of the Masters in Biblical Studies. Read further to learn the requirements for each diploma and Masters program. Highlighted courses defined below are currently available through IBS; non-highlighted courses are currently under development and not yet available for student use.
This is a six year study program. The first four years are made up of the two Diploma Study Programs previously mentioned. Upon completion of the final two years of study the student will be awarded this Masters in Biblical Studies. Please see the details of this study program below.
Accreditation: IBS does not currently offer accreditation that would enable course credits to be applicable for transfer to programs within other educational institutions. We hope to have such accreditation in the future.
Additional Courses may be taken after completing the following three certificate programs of study. These courses currently do not apply to a degree program. Please see the Course Catalog for details on these courses.
